About Outside The Box KC

As a Kansas City creator, inventive personality and lover of all paper, jewelry and fabric craft my mission at OTBKC is to share collaborative exploration with others! Together we can find clarity in life that isn’t shown to us but is discovered through creating what has never been seen before.

As the child, grandchild and great-grandchild of fine artists and craftspeople, I have always had a crayon or pair of scissors in my hands! I hold a Master’s Degree in Classroom Education and have led group instruction for over 20 years. As a teacher, I enjoyed sharing the love of learning, taking risks with others and thrive on watching others discover their own gifts!

At OTBKC I offer hand-on craft workshops, memoir writing classes and free community coloring days! Whether you’re looking for a day off for yourself, a unique girls day out, a play date with your bestie or a team-building day with your company – OTBKC is available as a respite of creativity and possibility.  I will lead you step-by-step as you enjoy the process of crafting a unique creation to take home – just bring an open mind and relaxing attitude! NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY.

Playing with paper, snippets of fabric or beads and charms – Outside The Box KC is a creative getaway for anyone looking for a day off of real life to explore a lighter few hours of fun and collaboration! Come visit me at a workshop soon!
